Movies – First Full Length Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar”

The first official trailer for director Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar has been released! This movie has been highly anticipated among those in the film community. Nolan and his production team have been very secretive and have not shared any major details about the film so this trailer gives us a great first look!

Through this trailer, we learn that Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) is a trained pilot and engineer who is recruited by Michael Caine’s character to embark on an important space mission. People on Earth are in danger due to climate issues and Cooper and his team must find another planet that is able to support human life.

Interstellar also stars Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Topher Grace, Mackenzie Foy, Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley, John Lithgow, and Ellen Burstyn. Even though the trailer focuses mainly on introducing Cooper and his story, but we do get glimpses of Hathaway, Chastain, Lithgow and Affleck’s characters.

What do you think of this first trailer? Will you be heading to theaters to see Interstellar when it comes out on November 7, 2014?
