Movie Exclusive – Four New Stills for “The Fault in Our Stars” Movie Released

Hypable and Page to Premiere recently shared four new stills from The Fault in Our Stars movie adaptation! These images give us a closer look at the swing set scene and the dinner scene in Amsterdam.

The Fault in Our Stars - #31

For those unfamiliar with the story, Hazel, her mom, and Augustus end up going on a short trip to Amsterdam to meet Hazel’s favorite author, Peter Van Houten. The trip ends up being quite disappointing because Van Houten is not very welcoming during their visit.

One still seems to be showing Hazel asking her mom for advice as she is getting ready for dinner out with Augustus. This is the only still that reveals a moment not shown in the trailer. The three other stills are simply giving us a closer glimpse at moments already revealed in the recent trailer.

The Fault in Our Stars - #30

The Fault in Our Stars - #28

The Fault in Our Stars - #29
The Fault in Our Stars is directed by Josh Boone and stars Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Nat Wolff, Laura Dern, Sam Trammell, Willem Dafoe, Lotte Verbeek, Mike Birbiglia, Emily Peachey, Milica Govich, and David Whalen.

What do you think of these new stills? Who is your favorite character from The Fault in Our Stars novel? Are you excited for the movie to finally hit theaters on June 6, 2014?

Movie Exclusive – First Extended Trailer for “Godzilla” Released

The first extended trailer for the Gareth Edwards-directed monster epic, Godzilla, has officially been released. We get a closer glance at the sheer amount of destruction and chaos the iconic monster is causing around the world.

Screen Shot 2014-02-25 at 12.26.56 PM

In the first teaser trailer, we only got to see the shadow and outline of Godzilla, which gave us an idea of how big he actually was. In this new trailer, however, we finally see some quick albeit detailed shots of the monster that reveal what he truly looks like.

Although this trailer does not reveal too much about character relationships, we do get an idea of the overall storyline of the film. Of course, major cities are being attacked and it is a race against time to defeat Godzilla and save the human race.

Godzilla stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, and David Strathairn.

Are you looking forward to Godzilla being in theaters on May 16, 2014? What do you think of this extended trailer? Godzilla was actually filmed here in Vancouver, BC and my dad was a crew member on the film! I am quite proud of the work that has been done and the film looks like it is going to be one action-packed adventure!

Movie Exclusive – First Official Full Length Trailer for “The Fault in Our Stars”

After weeks of rumors circulating and an unfortunate premature “leak,” the official trailer for The Fault in Our Stars movie is here! Of course, this trailer gives audiences an in depth look at some early footage from the film and sets up the story quite well.

The Fault in Our Stars - trailer still #1

We get our first look at some of the major scenes between Hazel Grace (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort). In addition, we get a glimpse at some scenes with Hazel and her parents (Laura Dern and Sam Trammell). Something that is also very sweet about the trailer is our first look at the friendship between Augustus and Isaac (Nat Wolff).

Although we do see scenes from the Amsterdam portion of the story, we do not get to see Willem Dafoe as Hazel’s favorite author, Peter Van Houten. However, this trailer is more focused on setting up the love story between Hazel and Augustus anyway. Watch the fantastic first trailer below:

The Fault in Our Stars was directed by Josh Boone and the cast also includes Lotte Verbeek, Mike Birbiglia, Emily Peachey, Milica Govich, and David Whalen.

First Official Trailer for “The Fault in Our Stars” Movie to be Released Tomorrow

There have been rumors circulating around the release date of The Fault in Our Stars trailer for weeks. However, these rumors can finally be put to rest as it was officially announced that it will be released tomorrow morning! At first it was believed that it was going to be released on Valentine’s Day, which was partially true because that is when it is going to start playing in movie theaters. [*UPDATE* The trailer actually starting playing theaters on February 7, 2014.]

Unfortunately, somebody who had been trusted with a copy of the trailer leaked it online over the weekend, but it was swiftly taken down due to obvious copyright issues. I believe that the premature “leak” of the trailer pushed Fox to decide to release it earlier.

In a recent Vlogbrothers video, author John Green answered some fan questions about the film and shared a special teaser:

What do you think of this exciting news? What do you think of the teaser John shared? Are you looking forward to the official release of The Fault in Our Stars movie? Who is your favorite character in the story? Stay tuned for the trailer!

Movie Exclusive – Potential Release Date for “The Fault in Our Stars” Trailer

Fans of John Green’s novel, The Fault in Our Stars, are no doubt counting down the days until the movie adaptation hits theaters in June. Green was very smart and social media savvy throughout the whole filming process as he shared pictures and video from the set, but this just left the fans wanting more.

Fox Pictures has stayed relatively secretive about anything to do with the film and had not released any exclusives until they recently released an official poster.

For those of you waiting for a trailer, there is a rumor that the first official trailer could be released on February 14, 2014 (Valentine’s Day). Don Boone, father of director Josh Boone, recently tweeted: Screen Shot 2014-01-02 at 12.01.50 PM

Although Valentine’s Day would be the perfect day to release the trailer for such a romantic movie, Fox Pictures has not confirmed anything. Be sure to check back for more details and The Fault in Our Stars movie exclusives!

Hopefully this new photo that actor Ansel Elgort (Augustus Waters) shared earlier this morning will hold you over while you wait for the trailer:
