As the March 29th release date for the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s The Host gets closer, more exclusives are being released. Twenty-three (23) new stills have surfaced online and these new stills give fans an even deeper look into the film and the relationships that play out.
Entertainment Weekly also recently conducted an interview with Meyer and released an exclusive featurette, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the film. Read the interview and watch the featurette here.

As the Sundance Film Festival underway, Entertainment Weekly has released portraits of the stars, directors, and producers that attended day two of the festival. Open Road Films shared thirteen (13) exclusive new images from the studio’s upcoming film, The Host. The studio is doing this of course to advertise for the film, but it is also their way of ringing in the new year with the fans.
The new photos give fans another in-depth look at the relationships between the major characters Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan), Jared Howe (Max Irons), and Ian O’Shea (Jake Abel). There is also a few new photos of Diane Kruger as “The Seeker.”

Summit Entertainment recently announced that they will be releasing an extended version of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part One on DVD and Blu-ray. According to articles on Yahoo! Movies and Page to Premiere, the extended version is going to have eight extra minutes of never-before-seen footage. This special edition DVD and Blu-ray is set to release on March 2, 2013!

The Collider and Hollywood.com posted some interesting and exclusive new stills from David Niccol’s film, The Host. For those of you who might not know, this film is based off of Stephenie Meyer’s best selling novel of the same title.
The Host has a strong cast behind it including actors Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, Jake Abel, Diane Kruger, William Hurt, and Boyd Holbrook. Here is the official synopsis for the film:

The first official character poster for The Host has been released by Fandango. The film is based off of Stephenie Meyer’s novel and was written for the screen and directed by Andrew Niccol. This particular poster is the first poster for the franchise that actually gives us a glimpse at three of the major characters and features Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, and Jake Abel.
Saoirse Ronan is going to be portraying the main female character, Melanie Stryder. Max Irons and Jake Abel are going to be portraying Melanie’s love interests, Jared Howe (Irons) and Ian O’Shea (Abel).
According to Page to Premiere, a sneak peek at a new trailer for The Host is going to be released tonight and the full length trailer is going to be released by MTV tomorrow. The Host hits theaters March 29, 2013.
