Summit Entertainment has shared another character poster for the upcoming Divergent movie adaptation. Yesterday production company released a poster featuring Maggie Q as her character Tori Wu. If you haven’t already, be sure to check that one out.
This new poster features actor Mekhi Phifer as his character Max, who is one of the main leaders of the Dauntless faction. Stay tuned for more posters as Summit will be releasing more over throughout the week!

Summit Entertainment recently released a stunning new character poster for Divergent. This new poster feature actress Maggie Q as her character Tori Wu.
For those unfamiliar with the story, Tori is an aptitude test volunteer and a tattoo artist who is a member of the Dauntless faction. When Beatrice “Tris” Prior (Shailene Woodley) transfers to the Dauntless faction, she becomes friends with Tori and goes to her for support.

The movie adaptation of Veronica Roth’s Divergent is not coming until spring of next year, but Summit has been sharing plenty of exclusives to keep the fans excited and interested in the movie. Today, two brand new character posters have released for us to enjoy!
These new posters feature actors Shailene Woodley and Theo James as their characters Tris Prior and Four. From these posters, we get our first look at the details of Four’s elaborate tattoos and another glimpse at Tris and her crow tattoo.
Divergent was directed by Neil Burger and also stars Jai Courtney, Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q, Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Ashley Judd, Ray Stevenson, and Tony Goldwyn. Take a look at these new character posters and let me know what you think in the comments!

We have been getting some exclusive photos here and there, which is no doubt exciting for fans of the futuristic, dystopian world of Veronica Roth’s Divergent series. However, they must be eager to see the first official footage from the anticipated adaptation! Last night during the VMA pre-show, actors Shailene Woodley and Theo James shared the first official teaser trailer!
Like any well done trailer, this first tease gives us our first glimpse of the stylized world and the overall feel of the film. We also get introduced to Tris Prior (Woodley), the situation she is thrown into, and her love interest, Four (James). Plus, we see the relationship between Tris and the villainous, Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet).
For those who may need a refresher, at the age of 16, the people of the Divergent world must make a choice as to which of the five factions they will join. From there, they must then go through a series of initiations to officially become a part of that faction. Each of the five factions have specific values and rules. In Abnegation they value selflessness, in Erudite they value intelligence, in Candor they value honesty, in Amity they value peace, and in Dauntless they value bravery.

Comic-Con 2013 is is full swing in San Diego and the stars have been attending the first panels of the festival. Stars from Divergent, Ender’s Game, Intelligence, Teen Wolf, Psych, The To Do List, Hannibal, and several more casts of popular movies and television shows visited the Entertainment Weekly photo studio.
The portraits from day one are beautifully photographed and it looks like all the stars visiting the studio were having a great time taking the photos! Take a look in the gallery below:
Actress Kate Winslet recently sat down for an exclusive interview with USA Today from the Divergent set. In addition to the interview, USA Today also released the first still of the actress as her chilly evil character Jeanine Matthews. Winslet’s character is the protector of the dystopian society of the Divergent world and the leader of the Erudite faction, making her the antagonist of the story.
At the age of 16, the people of the Divergent world must make a choice as to which of the five factions they will join. Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) and her family are first introduced to Jeanine Matthews on the day Tris has to choose her faction.
Winslet had this to say about her character when talking to USA Today: “That’s the whole point of Jeanine. She walks down the corridor and sort of just leaves this vapor trail. I knew I had to bring that intimidation.”
The actress is also currently pregnant with her third child and because it is summer time, it has not been very forgiving temperature wise on the Chicago sets. However, the actress is a trooper had had this to say about the summer heat: “I’m holding up fine. I’m pregnant, but it’s not at the point where it becomes impossible. Sometimes you just have to roll with it.”
Due to her pregnancy, Winslet was late showing up to the Chicago sets and did not have a chance to properly meet her cast mates. She used this fact to her advantage: “I wanted to break it and say, ‘It’s OK, I’m really fun. I promise.’ But I thought, just for today, I’d let them think that I am a complete bitch.”
Author Veronica Roth is very impressed with Winslet work on the film so far and is excited about what she has brought to her character. Roth had this to say to USA Today: “Kate has gone with a very subtle, even well-meaning villain. She’s not a mustache-twirling Disney type. She brings the menace in a very quiet way.”

People Magazine recently shared two exclusive stills from the set of the highly anticipated adaptation, Divergent. Both of these new stills feature actress Shailene Woodley in action as her character Tris.
Woodley has been doing most of her on stunts on the project and she had this to say when she spoke with Emily Strohm from People Magazine: “I have never done an action-type film. So it’s really exciting to jump into this.”
She also had this to say about why she chose to do most of her own stunts: “I’m such a physical, active person. So to be able to incorporate that with legit fight training and climbing up and down Ferris wheels, I’m so lucky.”
