First Look at “Cloud Atlas” – Trailer and Photos

A trailer and photos for Cloud Atlas have been released. This film, based off of David Mitchell’s novel of the same title, has three different director-screenwriters, Lana Wachowski, Andy Wachowski, and Tom Tykwer. It has quite a strong cast including Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, Zhou Zun, Keith David, David Gyasi, Susan Sarandon, and Hugh Grant.

Cloud Atlas looks at how our actions and the consequences of those actions impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. There is action, mystery and romance weaved through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future. This film is set to hit theaters October 26, 2012.
