Television Exclusive – “Friends” Reunion not in the Works

Rumors have been circulating online that NBC has been working on a reunion for the hit show Friends. However exciting this may be for those of you who are fans of the show, unfortunately these rumors are not true. NBC has recently confirmed with Entertainment Weekly that a Friends reunion is definitely not in the works and the rumors are just simply that, rumors.

All of the buzz started when rumors that NBC was planning a Thanksgiving reunion episode for 2014 began to surface online. According to Entertainment Weekly, more fuel was added to these rumors just last week, when it was reported by a Latin America news network that NBC had confirmed a new full-season order of the show. Unfortunately, this was all simply speculation and rumors that were untrue.

What do you think of this news? Were you hoping that there would be a Friends reunion? Do you think NBC should still consider the idea of a reunion episode or special?
