A few weeks ago, amid rumours that Stan Lee would not be making a cameo in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, it was announced that he, in fact, will be making an appearance.
MoviePilot reports that Stan Lee will be playing a Xandarian citizen in the film, although it is unknown what he will be saying.
Guardians is a Marvel Entertainment adaptation of their comic book of the same name. The synopsis from IMDb: “In the far reaches of space, an American pilot named Peter Quill finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan.”
“Xandar is the home of the Nova Corps – seen in trailers and promotions – with Glenn Close their leader, Commander Rael…” reports MoviePilot.
The film stars Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan, John C. Reilly, and Glenn Close, and is directed by James Gunn.

Guardians of the Galaxy hits theatres August 1.
