Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play, August: Osage County, is being made into a major motion picture and is being distributed by The Weinstein Company. In 2007, Letts’ play debuted in Chicago at the famous Steppenwolf Theatre and later made a Broadway debut at the Imperial Theater. In 2008, the show went on to win five Tony Awards, including best play.

The cast involved in this film is phenomenal and includes Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Sam Shepard, Juliette Lewis, Julianne Nichols, Ewan McGregor, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Cooper, Abigal Breslin, and Dermot Mulroney.
