Television Exclusive – Stunning New Still Released from “Outlander” Series

Author Diana Gabaldon has two very extensive sets of novels, the Outlander series and the Lord John Grey series. Fans of Gabaldon’s work are probably aware that her Outlander series is going to be made into a television show.

Outlander is the official title of the show and the first season will be based off of the first novel. Entertainment Weekly recently shared an exclusive image from the show that features Caitriona Balfe and Tobias Menzies as their characters.


The story follows Claire (Balfe), a 1940s combat nurse who is travelling through Scotland with her husband Frank (Menzies). However, she falls through a time-travelling portal and ends up in the 18th century. Here she falls in love with a young warrior named Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).

Sweet New Image from “The Spectacular Now” Revealed

The Spectacular Now is a classic coming of age story based off of the novel by Tim Tharp that was originally published in 2008. Tharp’s popular novel is now getting adapted for the screen in an upcoming movie with the same title.

The film stars Miles Teller as Sutter Keely, a cocky and self-indulged high school senior who goes gains a new outlook on life after getting to know Shailene Woodley’s character, Aimee Finicky. An exclusive and sweet new image has recently been revealed. This exclusive image features Sutter (Teller) and Aimee (Woodley) driving in a truck and delivering newspapers.

Fans of the novel may be interested in seeing this image because it gives us a closer look at how the relationship between Sutter and Aimee is portrayed in the film. The screenplay was penned by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, who also wrote (500) Days of Summer and The Fault in Out Stars screenplays together. If you haven’t already, watch the recent trailer here.

Exclusive New Images from “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones”

Exclusive new images have recently been released for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. These images were released in a “character reveal” marketing campaign.

Through the images, fans will get the first glimpse at some major characters from the series such as Simon Lewis (Robert Sheehan), Alec Lightwood (Kevin Zegers), Jace Wayland (Jamie Campbell Bower), Magnus Bane (Godfrey Gao), and Valentine Morgenstern (Jonathan Rhys Meyers). Plus, there is also a sneak peek at the relationship between Jace (Bower) and Clary Fray (Lily Colins).

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones also stars actors Lena Headey, Kevin Durand, CCH Pounder, and Jemima West and is directed by Harald Zwart.
