First Official clip from “The Fault in Our Stars”

The first official clip for The Fault in Our Stars movie has been released and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. Fans of the book will be extremely happy with this clip and it will no doubt leave them more excited for the film!

Many fans were worried about the fact that Ansel Elgort was cast as Augustus Waters when it was originally announced. However, after seeing the trailer and watching this new clip, those doubts should be swept away. Elgort absolutely captures every little character detail that fans will want to see on screen. Watch below:

Movie Exclusive – First Official Still from “If I Stay”

Entertainment Weekly has officially released a new still from the If I Stay movie adaptation! If I Stay is based off of Gayle Forman’s young adult novel of the same title.

This exclusive new still gives us our first look at Chloë Grace Moretz as Mia and newcomer Jamie Blackley as her boyfriend Adam.

If I Stay follows 17-year-old Mia as she goes through a strange out-of-body experience after she and her family were in a devastating car accident. There are moments where she remembers certain events about her past as she is in a coma.

Her boyfriend Adam tries his best to wake her up and let her know that she still has a reason to stay alive. Mia is also a very talented cellist and she must decide between a life at Julliard or a life with Adam in Oregon.

Movie Exclusive – Official First Trailer for “The Giver” Starring Jeff Bridges and Brenton Thwaites

The first official trailer for the highly awaited adaptation of Lois Lowry’s The Giver has officially been released! This exclusive trailer shows the expansive dystopian and futuristic world that director Philip Noyce and actor Jeff Bridges worked so hard to bring to the silver screen. Additionally, it gives us our first look at Bridges and Brenton Thwaites as their iconic characters.

When working to get this story on film, Bridges wanted his father to play the role of The Giver. Unfortunately, his father has since passed away and things on the production had to be changed. In the stead of his father, Bridges took on the role and is acting as a producer on the film as well.

Here is an official synopsis for The Giver (via Goodreads): “Jonas’ world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war or fear or pain. There are no choices. Movie Exclusive – First Trailer for James Brown Biopic “Get On Up”

Director Tate Taylor gained critical acclaim for his 2011 film, The Help, and it looks like he has another powerful film under his belt. Collider has shared the first trailer for Taylor’s next directorial adventure, a James Brown biopic entitled Get On Up.

The cast behind this film includes Chadwick Boseman, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Dan Aykroyd, Nelsan Ellis, Lennie James, Tika Sumpter, and Jill Scott. This is Boseman’s second time portraying a historical icon as he also recently played Jackie Robinson in last year’s 42.

Movie Exclusive – First Official Teaser Trailer for “Annie” Remake

The first official teaser trailer for the Annie remake starring Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz and Rose Byrne has been released!

In this new teaser, we get to see some of the subtle changes that have been made to the story and the overall feel of the updated music. We also get our first look at some of the major dance numbers that will be featured throughout the film.

Originally the awaited movie musical was going to be released December 25, 2014. However, the release date was changed to an earlier date and it will now hit theaters on December 19, 2014.

Movie Exclusive – New Full Length Trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah”

A thrilling and action-packed new trailer has been released for the Darren Aronofsky-directed adventure, Noah. This trailer shows some footage that has already been released in previous trailers. We do, however, get a deeper look at the ark and the animals that join Noah and his family. Plus, we get a closer glimpse at the flood event.

Although Noah is based off of the classic biblical story of Noah’s Ark, it is going to focus in on details of the story and have a more gritty and realistic feel to it. The overall purpose of the ark will be slightly different and it will not be used to travel. Instead, the ark will simply be used to stay safe during the major weather event. Watch the exhilarating new trailer below:

Noah has quite an extensive cast and stars Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, and Anthony Hopkins. Plus, actors Douglas Booth, Kevin Durand, Martin Csokas, Mark Margolis, Sami Gayle, and Madison Davenport also star in this epic.

Broadway Exclusive – New “Aladdin” on Broadway Cast Portraits

Buzzfeed recently did a fun interview with the main Broadway cast of Disney’s Aladdin. With that interview, they also shared some gorgeous cast portraits taken by photographer Cylla von Tiedemann. These new photos feature Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), Courtney Reed (Jasmine), and James Monroe Iglehart (Genie) and some supporting cast members.
