Movie Exclusive – New International Poster Released for “Diana” Biopic

A stunning new international poster has been released for the Oliver Hirschbiegel-directed biopic entitled Diana. The production itself has actually undergone several changes with both the title and release date being changed. The original title was Caught in Flight, but it was later changed to simply, Diana. The release date was also changed from August 29 to September 20, 2013.

This biopic takes a looks at Lady Diana’s relationship with Dr. Hasnat Khan and the last few years of her life. Naomi Watts is playing Princess Diana and Dr. Hasnat Khan is being played by Naveen Andrews. The biopic also stars Cas Anvar, Douglas Hodge, Geraldine James, Charles Edwards, and Daniel Pirrie.

This poster gives us another glimpse of Watts in the iconic role of Princess Diana and the resemblance is almost uncanny. Personally, I think Watts was a great choice for the role and I am very interested in seeing how the film plays out. If you have not already, be sure to watch the first trailer for the film here.

What do you think of this new international poster for Diana? Do you think Watts is right for the iconic role? What do you think of the other cast members involved in this project? Will you be interested in seeing this film when it is released?

Behind the Scenes – “Man on a Ledge”

The high-stakes film Man on a Ledge has a strong roster of actors that includes Sam Worthington, Elizabeth Banks, Anthony Mackie, Jamie Bell, Ed Harris, Edward Burns, and Genesis Rodriguez. Sam Worthington plays Nick Cassidy, an ex-cop and now-wanted fugitive who climbs onto the ledge of a high-rise building. Crowds begin to gather hundreds of feet below and Cassidy (Worthington) requests police psychologist Lydia Mercer (Elizabeth Banks) to talk him down from the ledge. However, the longer that they are on the ledge, the more she realizes things aren’t as they appear to be and he has an ulterior motive.

Entertainment Tonight recently was given exclusive behind the scenes footage from the DVD on how the actors and crew shot the scenes on the ledge. With all of the modern technology available and  the special effects that can be done you would think that they weren’t actually on a ledge of a high-rise for those scenes and I was shocked myself to find out that the actors were indeed on a real ledge.

The DVD for Man on a Ledge comes out May 29, 2012. Are you going to go and get this DVD? Is this a film that you have been looking forward to owning? Would you be brave enough to do what the cast and crew of Man on a Ledge did?
