For those of you who are fans of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games series, you are going to absolutely love this new trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire! It was finally released during the Comic-Con panel Saturday afternoon. Personally, I believe that this is the trailer that fans have been waiting for. Let me tell you, it is well worth the wait!
There is so much amazing detail and coverage of the story packed within the two minute and thirty second trailer that it is hard not to love every single frame. I think Catching Fire is going to be an even better movie than its predecessor and is going to be even more successful when it premieres.
Of course, we get to see more of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), and Gale (Liam Hemsworth). However, we also get a deeper look at the Quarter Quell and the rebellion and different levels of uprising that Katniss has inspired. In addition to all that madness, there is some new of the tributes competing in the Quarter Quell.
This trailer is just too amazing and glorious for me to describe in one post, so watch it here and let me know what you think! Catching Fire is going to finally be in theaters on November 22, 2013!
Comic-Con 2013 is is full swing in San Diego and the stars have been attending the first panels of the festival. Stars from Divergent, Ender’s Game, Intelligence, Teen Wolf, Psych, The To Do List, Hannibal, and several more casts of popular movies and television shows visited the Entertainment Weekly photo studio.
The portraits from day one are beautifully photographed and it looks like all the stars visiting the studio were having a great time taking the photos! Take a look in the gallery below:
For all of us “Gleeks” out there, we already know that in season four Rachel (Lea Michele) is going to begin her journey in New York, Kurt (Chris Colfer) will possibly be joining Rachel in New York, and will be seeing Finn (Cory Monteith) in the U.S. Army. However, cast members Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Darren Criss (Blaine), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Naya Rivera (Santana), and executive producers Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan, Dante Diloreto revealed some new information while on the Glee Comic-Con panel in San Diego.
Here is what was talked about on the Glee panel according to an article from Entertainment Weekly:
“The next Britney Spears tribute will be the second episode of the season and feature Heather Morris heavily. The episode will also explore Rachel’s transition to New York. Fresh off her breakup with Finn, Ms. Berry will find herself as a big fish in a really, really big pond in New York City. Kate Hudson will play her negative-reinforcement-loving dance teacher.
The series regulars in season 3 will be back “in some capacity” for season 4, says Falchuk. Not every episode, though — the cast is too big to accommodate everyone on each episode. Chord Overstreet — recurring in season 3 — isn’t locked in to return as a season 4 series regular… yet. Producers are hopeful that a deal will come through, though. They feel the same way about Sam and Alex, contestants of The Glee Project, neither of whom are officially signed on for the new season.
Glee favorites will find themselves all over the place. Santana is cheerleading at the University of Louisville, Finn is prepping to join the army (which led the crowd to plead for Monteith not to shave his head), and Kurt is still in Lima, stuck in a bit of a rut. Will and Emma aren’t married yet, but they are living together, happily engaged, and “doing dirty things.”
We’ll be meeting Puck’s little brother this season, and if producer Ian Brennan has his way, Artie’s parents as well. While they haven’t been written into the show yet, he says he’s always dreamed of Artie’s mother being an obsessive hoarder. Kevin McHale says that if the character ever makes the show, he’d love to see Katey Sagal play his mom and Harry Connick Jr. play his dad.”
What do you think of these new ideas? Are you looking forward to season four? Do you think the show will become too chaotic following all of these different characters? Let me know in the comments below!
Entertainment Weekly has been following Comic-Con and has a lot of really interesting posts about what is going on at the San Diego Comic-Con. They recently posted a gallery with some stunning and fun photos of stars that are at Comic-Con for panels and promotional events.
What do you think of these photos? Are you following what is happening at Comic-Con?
Last night was Preview night at Comic-Con in San Diego. At this event fans get a chance to walk around and have a look at all of the booths that are set up. There was a lot of interesting things set up that I think you will all enjoy.
At the Weta booth some life-size models of The Hobbit trolls were set up, along with life-size models of Thorin Oakenshield (played by Richard Armitage), Gandalf (played by Ian McKellen, and Gollum (played by Andy Serkis.) Have a look at these photos and let me know what you think!
