Thrilling New Clip from “Godzilla” Teases Monster Battle

An exciting new clip has been released from Warner Brothers’ upcoming monster flick, Godzilla.  In this new clip we get a great look at Godzilla himself as a battle between him and another monster is teased. As Dr. Ichiro Serizawa (Ken Watanabe) says, “Let them fight.”

Here is part of the official synopsis (via Apple Movie Trailers): “An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.”

Godzilla is directed by Gareth Edwards and also stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, and David Strathairn.

What do you think about the overall character design of Godzilla? Did you know that Andy Serkis was a motion capture consultant on the film? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Trailer Exclusive – Extended Trailer for “Godzilla”

A new extended trailer for Godzilla has recently been released! This exclusive trailer gives us a broader sense of how the story is going to play out and the relationships between the major characters.

We also get a closer look at the sheer amount of destruction that Godzilla leaves behind and another look at the monster himself.

Screen Shot 2014-04-07 at 7.48.18 PM

It is an action-packed and thrilling trailer you do not want to miss! Are you looking forward to when Godzilla is theatrically released on May 16, 2014? Do you think this trailer gives away too much?

Movie Exclusive – First Extended Trailer for “Godzilla” Released

The first extended trailer for the Gareth Edwards-directed monster epic, Godzilla, has officially been released. We get a closer glance at the sheer amount of destruction and chaos the iconic monster is causing around the world.

Screen Shot 2014-02-25 at 12.26.56 PM

In the first teaser trailer, we only got to see the shadow and outline of Godzilla, which gave us an idea of how big he actually was. In this new trailer, however, we finally see some quick albeit detailed shots of the monster that reveal what he truly looks like.

Although this trailer does not reveal too much about character relationships, we do get an idea of the overall storyline of the film. Of course, major cities are being attacked and it is a race against time to defeat Godzilla and save the human race.

Godzilla stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, and David Strathairn.

Are you looking forward to Godzilla being in theaters on May 16, 2014? What do you think of this extended trailer? Godzilla was actually filmed here in Vancouver, BC and my dad was a crew member on the film! I am quite proud of the work that has been done and the film looks like it is going to be one action-packed adventure!
