Movies – Warner Brothers Reveals Official Title and New Logo for “Batman v. Superman”

In a recent press release, Warner Brothers Pictures revealed the official title and logo for Zack Snyder’s anticipated Man of Steel sequel. As this film is the prequel to the upcoming Justice League film, the title Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice makes sense.

The new logo is also quite interesting because it incorporates both of the iconic Batman and Superman symbols.

Details about production and shooting locations were also revealed in the press release:

“Batman vs Superman” Director Gives Sneak Peek of New Batmobile and Costume

Zack Snyder, the director of the upcoming Batman vs Superman film tweeted out a sneak peek of the new Batmobile and Ben Affleck’s costume.

The director tweeted a picture of the rear wheels and axel of the famous vehicle with the caption, “Could be time to pull the tarp… Tomorrow?”

Batmobile 1

We were treated to the full picture today.

The picture features a look at the new Batman costume and a top view of the Batmobile. The vehicle, designed by Patrick Tatopoulos, is much anticipated and is much speculated about by fans, as it follows the “revolutionary” Batmobile from the Christopher Nolan films.

Batmobile 2

The film, which is currently untitled, stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Superwoman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. The movie is set to premiere on May 6, 2016.

What do you think of the re-designed costume and Batmobile?

First Official Trailer for “Lullaby” starring Garrett Hedlund and Amy Adams

The first trailer for ARC Entertainment’s Lullaby has officially been released! Let me tell you, this looks like it is going to be an amazing and emotional film.

Lullaby stars Garrett Hedlund, Richard Jenkins, Amy Adams, Jessica Brown Findlay, Anne Archer, Terrence Howard, Jennifer Hudson, and Jessica Barden. Here is an official synopsis (via Apple Movie Trailers):

“Estranged from his family, Jonathan (Hedlund) discovers his father has decided to take himself off life support in forty-eight hours’ time. During this intensely condensed period, a lifetime of drama plays out. Robert (Jenkins) fights a zero sum game to reclaim all that his illness stole from his family. A debate rages on patients’ rights and what it truly means to be free. Jonathan reconciles with his father, reconnects with his mother (Archer), sister (Brown-Findlay), and his love (Adams) and reclaims his voice through two unlikely catalysts—a young, wise-beyond-her-years patient (Barden) and a no-nonsense nurse (Hudson). Through this intensely life-affirming prism, an unexpected and powerful journey of love, laughter, and forgiveness unfolds.”

Does this look like a film you would be interested in seeing? What do you think of this first trailer? Lullaby will be available on iTunes and be released in theaters on June 13.
