Movie Exclusive – First Trailer for “CBGB” Starring Alan Rickman

The first official trailer for the Randall Miller-directed film, CBGB, has officially been released! Miller also co-wrote and co-produced the film based off of events that occurred at the CBGB music club in Manhattan. The name of the iconic club stands for Country, Bluegrass, and Blues, which Alan Rickman’s character, Hilly Kristal, makes quite clear in the trailer.

Back in May of last year, it was officially announced that actress Malin Akerman would be joining the project as Blondie singer Debbie Harry. Well, in this new trailer we get our first look at Akerman in character as Blondie herself.

Rupert Grint is also part of the cast and he will be playing Dead Boys guitarist, Cheetah Chrome. The film’s star-studded cast does not end there as actors Ashley Greene, Stana Katic, Johnny Galecki, Ryan Hurst, Justin Bartha, Donal Logue and Bradley Whitford are all a part of the cast.
