People has our first look at David Ayer’s World War II drama entitled Fury. Here is an official synopsis (via IMDbPro): “April, 1945. A battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Wardaddy and his men face odds in their attempts to strike at Nazi Germany.”
Fury has quite an extensive cast that includes Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Peña, Scott Eastwood, Jason Isaacs, and Xavier Samuel. Ayer talked about the role Pitt has in the film and explained to People: “He’s playing this badass, hard, tough, intense guy. It’s a different kind of role for him.”
These new stills give us a closer look at the rough and realistic nature of the film. According to People, film took 68 days to shoot and the cast spent most of those days in confined settings to realistically portray the atmosphere of a U.S. Army tank.
