First Look – Exclusive New Images from “X-Men: Days of Future Past”

Entertainment Weekly recently shared five exclusive new images from the highly awaited X-Men: Days of Future Past. The film is not set to come out until next May, but fans have been patiently waiting for some exclusives. These five new photos give us a sneak peek at some of the major characters in the film.

The first image gives us a look at Hugh Jackman as Logan, Michael Fassbender as Erik ”Magneto” Lehnsherr, and James McAvoy as Charles ”Professor X” Xavier. We also get a look at Jennifer Lawrence as her character Mystique and Peter Dinklage as Dr. Bolivar Trask. Of course, we also get another look at Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Ian McKellen as Magneto.

X-Men - Days of Future Past - #1

This next film in the franchise was inspired by the original comic-book written by Chris Claremont and John Byrne in the 1980s. The casts from the original X-Men films and the recent prequel, X-Men: First Class will be brought together for a time-travelling journey. Wolverine (Jackman) is sent from the future back to the 1970s by Professor X (Stewart) and Magneto (McKellen) to change certain important events.

Bryan Singer directed the first two X-Men films and has returned to the franchise to direct Days of Future Past. In a recent interview he had this to say about the anticipated film: The stakes are high, not just for the world and the future but also the stakes of some of the characters. Clearly there was enormous fragmentation between the characters that happened at the end of First Class. That left the characters on a certain path. This movie will show you where those paths lead.”

X-Men - Days of Future Past - #2

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be hitting theaters near you on May 23, 2014. Are you an X-Men fan? Are you looking forward to this next film in the franchise? Who is your favorite X-Men character? What do you think of these new photos?

In following church doctrine, she was forced to sign a contract that wouldn’t allow for any sort of inquiry into the son’s whereabouts. After starting a family years later in England and, for the most part, moving on with her life, Lee meets Sixsmith (Coogan), a BBC reporter with whom she decides to discover her long-lost son.
