The jukebox musical based off of the Beatles, Let it Be, will be making its Broadway debut this summer. Producers of the show announced on Wednesday that it will be playing at the St. James Theatre for a limited engagement. The show will be continuing its run on London’s West End as well.
This fun musical follows the Beatles journey from performing at Liverpool’s Cavern Club to becoming international stars. There is currently no news on the creative teams, the design teams, or the cast. However, more information on these aspects of the production will be announced soon.
Currently, previews are set to begin on July 16, with the opening night scheduled for July 24. On Broadway the show will be produced by Jeff Parry/Annerin Productions.
